London Recreational Racing has a rich history in various forms of motorsports, including snowmobile racing and short track stock car racing. With passion and dedication we have become a top name and always field competitive drivers and equipment.
In 1990, LRR founder Mike Schmidt took to the track for his first race which consisted of snowmobile ice/grass drags and speed runs. In 1994 the London Recreational Racing Snocross team was formed, and continues to travel Canada and the United States today racing for wins with top riders and equipment.
In 2005, London Recreational Racing was set for a new challenge and expanded into the short track stock car racing horizon where it is currently known as one of the top teams. Fielding entries at almost every track in Ontario and various touring series, LRR has rapidly become a leader in the stock car scene.
The London Recreational Racing team participates in racing events all year, on almost a weekly basis. Whether it be on the high banks of Sunset Speedway with a Pro Late Model, or on the big jumps in Minnesota with the Snocross team, LRR races for the right reasons. While we have a passion for winning and beating our own records, we race for the fun, the bonding and the experiences.
You can see a London Recreational Racing driver race somewhere near you almost any weekend, all year round. Check out our schedule to see where the LRR drivers will be on any given date.
" First class people through and through, couldn't imagine racing without LRR on my cars. Unparallelled support for local motorsports "
WE DO IT BECAUSE IT'S A LIFESTYLE
London Recreational Racing prides itself on racing to be competitive while respecting the other competitors. Success does not happen without sweat, blood and tears in the shop before leaving for the race track. To win races it takes great partners, crew, drivers and dedication.
